Kitap Hakkında:

This book is a selection of the best local dishes from the Turkish provinces where Sahrap Soysal spent her childhood years as one of a family of six children. As her food loving engineer father moved from one construction project to another, Sahrap’s own love of food and knowledge of her country’s regional cuisines evolved, laying the foundations of her later career as a food writer. Her enthusiasm for foods and flavours is infectious, as she describes mouthwatering soups, salads, pastries, pilafs, meat  dishes an puddings that are often little known outside their localities but certainly deserve to be.

Memories of marvellous meals in over thirty provinces, nostalgic and amusing anecdotes
of family and friends, and local legends are interwoven in this story of real foot made by real people. She has adapted the finest recipes of Turkish regional cuisines that are threatened by oblivion today to suit the modern day kitchen and simplified dishes so that everyone can make
even the ones that look most difficult. This book is a real cookery tale, leavened
with love and garnished with happy memories.
